The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has recently qualified for European Innovation Management Standard TS 16555, the first global standard of its kind, that provides an integrated institutional system for innovation and includes a set of standards and requirements supporting the application of enterprise innovation.
The Commission received the standard after the completion of the innovation management audits by the competent company and the BSI. The Authority seeks to establish a culture of innovation in the work environment.
The Authority received the prestigious certification after completing innovation management audits conducted by the company and the awarding body, British Standard Institute (BSI), as the Authority seeks to establish a culture of innovation in the work environment.
Klaithem Al Shamsi, Director of Strategy and Future, confirmed that the certification helps to achieve the strategic goals of the Authority, which contribute to making the UAE one of the most innovative countries in the world and supports creation of a supportive business environment for innovation.
Head of Excellence Department, Maitha Kalthoum, said that the Authority has prepared guidelines for innovation management and policies that support the documentation of innovative ideas and projects, stressing that the management always seeks to provide a positive environment for employees and encourage them to innovate.
The certificate was received by HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Authority, in the presence of Klaithem Al Shamsi, Director of Strategy and Future, and Maitha Kalthoum, at a ceremony attended by a number of sector and department directors, FAHR employees and representatives of PDCA - MC.
